Through my career as a pianist & composer and decades of experience teaching piano lessons, my unique approach is catered for each students' needs.

My main actions / goals are threefold:

1. I equip my students with the tools they need to play the piano well
2. I show my students various techniques and concepts, each of which are introduced to students in an order that will ensure that they learn concepts thoroughly and quickly
3. I emphasize the importance of practice and a knowledge of the overall classical musical canon, which contextualizes compositions, periods, composers, and aesthetics, and sets up a conceptual framework for a lifetime of broad-scale music appreciation
